Send a concise proposal for an original piece on objects, graphics, interiors, architecture or design history. Strong pitches identify the subject, the central question, the reader takeaway and why the piece suits Modern Design Review.

A useful approach

We value clear explanations, careful distinctions between fact and opinion, and examples that illuminate rather than decorate the argument. Avoid broad surveys, unsupported claims, product promotion and pitches that depend on access or expertise you do not have.
