Editorial policy
Modern Design Review aims to make design topics clear, specific and fair. Our editorial work separates what can be observed from what is a matter of interpretation or taste.
Accuracy and clarity
We check names, terminology and factual claims against suitable sources before publication. When a subject is open to interpretation, we say so and explain the basis for the reading rather than presenting an opinion as settled fact.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled, and a partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.
Corrections and illustrations
If a published piece contains a substantive error, we correct it and make the change clear to readers. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary images.
